Jim Hines

po_Hines-JimJames “Jim” Ray Hines (born September 10, 1946) is a retired American track and field athlete, who held the 100 m world record for 15 years.

Hines was the first sprinter to officially break the 10-second barrier in the 100 meters with Fully automatic timing, running an electronically timed 9.95 to win on October 14, the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City.
